As the name implies, "non-standard automation" is the counterpart of the concept of "standard automation". In the engineering field, in order to cope with the mass production of standard products, TICO linear module slide automation production line is designed, supplemented by standardized fixtures and tools, and strict production process SOP (Standard Operating Instructions), BOM (Spare Parts and Bill of Materials) and quality control mode SIP (Standard Operating Instructions for Product Inspection) are formulated to effectively manage the whole process of the production line. To achieve high production efficiency, low cost and good quality. That is, the "standard automation" production model is adopted. However, when facing the drastic changes in market demand, the negative effect is very serious. When the product needs to be updated, the whole production line is in danger of being scrapped.
How to do non-standard automation equipment?
1. Standard Operating Instructions (SOP) - in the form of illustrated paper documents (or electronic documents), clearly specifies all the specific actions used in manufacturing and assembly, tools, jigs and fixtures, raw materials and parts to be processed and assembled (including standard parts), as well as the specific requirements of each process, and the processing sequence. The 'anti-dulling' description and corresponding measures are adopted so that ordinary employees can use a simple 'as shown' method to perform and complete machining and assembly tasks in accordance with SOPs.
2. Standard Inspection Procedure (SIP) for products - In the form of illustrated paper documents (or electronic documents), the raw and auxiliary materials, all semi-finished and final products required in the manufacturing and assembly process are inspected regularly or with a certain frequency according to technical requirements (i.e. dimensional tolerances, surface roughness, form tolerances, material and appearance). The description of 'anti-dullness' and corresponding measures are adopted so that ordinary employees can perform and complete inspection tasks for all raw and auxiliary materials, processing, assembly and all other processes and finished products in accordance with the SIP using a simple 'follow-the-picture' method.
